The Mt. Zion congregation needed more space and greater accessibility throughout the building. The new design needed to fit the budget and complement the existing building.

Phase I involved a narthex addition, including a commercial elevator to provide accessibility to three levels of the existing building. A balcony was also added to increase seating in the rear of the sanctuary.

Phase II followed with a third floor addition to the Educational Building to provide relief for over-crowded conditions. Careful planning and close coordination with the client's regularly scheduled meetings resulted in little if any disruption throughout the entire building process.
